Sushmita Sen
Sushmita Sen, born on 19th November 1975 is a famous intelligent Indian Actress and was India’s first Miss Universe in 1994. Sushmita was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India - her father Shubeer Sen is a former Air Force officer and her mother is a fashion and jwellery designer. She has adopted daughter-Renee from a orphanage.
She was loaded with bollywood movie offers after being crowned as Miss Universe but she took her time to settle down and finally chose Mahesh Bhatt’s movie Dastak as her debut. Unfortunately movie went down on box office following with another flop Zor starring Sunny Deol.
She came into limelight again after Biwi No. 1 starring Salman Khan and Karishma Kapoor. She won IIFA, Filmfare, Zee Cine awards as a Best Supporting Actress for Biwi No. 1 in year 2000. She even won Filmfare award for her brilliant performance as Best Supporting Actress in year 2003 for movie Filhal - where she played a role of surrogate mother. She was critically acclaimed for her role in Filhal.Sushmita was appreciated for her role opposite to Shahrukh Khan in the movie Main Hoon Na. In her most recent movie Main Pyaar Kyon Kiya starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif also gave her a boost as a beautiful actress.
