Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra is from the state (UP) where beauty pageants were banned for that year, she won the Miss World 2000 crown. 5;8� tall Priyanka was born on 18th July 1982 to Capt. Dr. Ashok Chopra & Dr. Madhu Chopra. She was brought up at Bareli, Uttar Pradesh. She took her higher education at Boston. Without noticing Priyanka, her parents sent her photographs for Femina Miss India Contest where she won the title Miss India.
This was for first time, all the three Indian ladies in the beauty contest won the crowns for the same year 2000 � Lara Dutta as Miss Universe, Diya Mirza as Miss Asia Pacific, Priyanka Chopra as Miss World.
As doars of Bollywood opens for her after this great acheivement, she had to leave her wish to be a Software Engineer or a Criminal Psychologist. She did multiples of films including superhit Andaaz, Aitraaz, Mujse Shadi Korogi
Priyanka Chopra was joint winner with Lara Dutta for her debut �Andaaz� in Filmfare Sensational Awards 2003. She also put herself successfully as a villain in Aitraaz & took Filmfare Best villain Award 2004 for that.
Priyanka likes Indian music and dance. In her free time she enjoys writing poetry & short stories.
