Nishabd Movie - Amitabh Bachhan with Jiah KhanAmitabh Bachchan is going to play a lead role as a 54 year old married man who falls in love with 18 year old girl played by Jiah Khan, her debut film. Jiah Khan is daughter of bollywood actress Rubiya. Nishabd is latest film from Ram Gopal Verma where old Amitabh Bachhan is portrayed to be getting obsessed with lead actress.


It is a passionate love story based on Vladimir Nakabov’s timeless novell Lolita. Ram Gopal Varma confirms the fact that movie is based on “Lolita” but his characters are driven by love and not by sexual obsession. The role played by Jiah Khan is of 18 year old girl and not 12 year old as in the novell.

It just doesn’t fit our culture and its very absurd to copy hollywood film.

Even i think the subject doesnt fit our culture. Though it is will be interesting to see how it turns out to be. Nishabd is inspired from a novel “Lolita”. It is not a copy from hollywood film. Though ya film based on novel - named “Lolita” was made in 1962 (Black and White).
