Namitha today is the sensational star in south indian film industry. With huge fan base Namisha is clearly at the top of ladder. Born and grown up in mumbai, namitha entered the film industry through telagu films. Malayalam film director Siddhique introdcued Namitha to film industry. Her first fame with popularity came by the film tamil version of the film Engal Anna.

Miss India contest brought Namitha to telugu film industry. After entering Tollywood, she immediately grabbed the attention of telugu film lovers with her action in both Sontam and Gemini though the films didn�t fare well in the box office.
