This Bengali beauty get turned her life to Bollywood when she won the Gladrags Supermodel Contest. She has done numerous Music Videos and Commercials too. Later on she went on to become the semi-finalist of Miss Intercontinental.

Konea Mitra stepped her career with an item song in Ram Gopal Varma?s film Road. She appeared in quite a few music videos like Stereo Nation?s Ishq, Aaj Ki Raat, Akh Teri, Channo by Jassi. After popularity for Road, Konea aspires to be an actress. Konea denied top producers like R.Santoshi, K.Johar, K.Metha for item songs. Konea Mitra has acted in Musafir, Ek Khiladi Ek Hasina, but both of these film badly collapsed at box office and all her dreams faced setback. Still without disappointing Konea Mitra is keeping up all the struggle for better results.

Koena has done commercials like ACP Whisky, Mirinda, Clinic All Clear, Maruti Alto.

Now Konea is having a comedy film of Mukta Arts directed by Sangeet Sivan.
