Chup Chup Ke Movie
It is another comedy from Priyadarshan’s factory based on mistaken identities and well-crafted lies. Jeetu, a street hustler, is engaged to Pooja (Sushma Reddy). Due to his overburned debt and failure to be successful in life he decides to jump into sea to end his life so that his family will be able to pay off his debt by the insurance money. But he is saved by two fisherman Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav. Jeetu pretends to deaf and mute so that he wont accidently five away his true identity. Both the fisherman give Jeetu to Prabhat Sigh (Om Puri) a gujarati business to settle down their old debt. Prabhat’s niece Shruti (Kareena Kapoor) is really mute but not deaf. Her cousin Meenakshi (Neha Dhupia) is her best friend and her voice.
Shruti’s overprotective brother Mangal (Suniel Shetty) is desperate to get her married. Shruti’s engagement was called off once will led everyone in family shattered. Jeetu’s feigning deafness and muteness gets revealed to Shruti and Meenakshi when one night he drinks and sings. Shruti confesses her love for Jeetu and Mangal in turn asks Jeetu to maary her. Will he every marry Shruti? The movie seems to be a good plot of lies and confusing situation. So far, Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor’s jodi has not been able to give a single hit. Their movies like Fida and 36 China Town have gone down at the box-office. Let’s see whether ‘Chup Chup Ke’ gives the couple their first hit together.
Its again Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor’s jodi on screen but they have not given a single hit. Chup Chup Ke is going to hit the theatres on 9th June.
