after winning Ford Supermodels Contest, a Kolkota teenager, caught eyes of Bollywood. She was also named Tulips Miss Super Vivacious.
Her first debut Ajnabee with Akshay Kumar was quiet successful & she shadowed herself as a sex bomb in bollywood. She is more populer by her roles in Raaz and Jism. Jism was unusually explicit for Bollywood films.
Despite of doing many ads, she did popular role Tu for Sonu Nigam’s album, Kismat.
In addition to modeling & acting, Bipasha Basu is fond of dancing, reading. During her free time, she likes to help her mum in their interior designing work. She is second daughter in her family having nickname Bonny. Bipasha completed her business degree at Calcutta.
Till now she had received Filmfare Sensational Debut Award & Filmfare Lux New Face Award for her first movie Ajnabee.
Her movie No Entry which starred Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan was the biggest hit for the year 2005.
