Ayesha Takia
Ayesha Takia, born on 10th August 1986 was a photographic model since she was four years old. When she was just 15 years old, she hit small screens with her appearance in Falguni Pathak’s famous video album “Meri Chunar Udi Udi Jaaye”. Her debut film was supposed to be Socha Na Tha as she signed it first. But due to delay in the whole project Tarzan-The Wonder Car became her first bollywood movie. She won the Filmfare Best Debut Award in year 2004 for Tarzan-The Wonder Car.
Her recent films Shaadi Se Pehle and Yuh Hota To Kya Hota didnt do that good at the box office. Her forth coming movies are:
Salaam E Ishq: A Tribute to Love (2006) starring Salman Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Vidya Balan, John Abraham, Akshaye Khanna
Fool and Final (2006) starring Shahid Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi, Bipasha Basu, Sameera Reddy.
She was born in Mumbai. Her father is Gujarati and mother is half British and half Maharashtrian. As she grew up speaking English at home she had to learn the hindi for her movie roles.
