Anti Piracy lawsuits are filed against 180 shops in North America and California for alleged piracy of movie DVDs.

Its common practive in North America for Video pirates to sell illegally copied videos of movies to retailers for $5 to $6 each, compared to legitimate DVDs, which wholesale for $14 each. What worse is retaliers rent these DVDs to customer for 1.50 to 2$ and make upto 300-500$ per movie (greater earnings if its hit movie).
